OBJECTIVE MOON

OFFICE DESIGN AND LAYOUT

Client: Objectif Lune

Montreal, QC. Canada

2003

1,450 m2 / 15,600 ft2

Following a move to a building with an industrial-type architectural framework, this communication agency decided to review the layout of its offices to better match the spirit of their new premises.

In continuity with the character of the place, the surfaces are stripped and the large openings are highlighted. The contribution of natural light is amplified in the open areas by the reflection on the exposed concrete floors.

Combined with the raw textures of the room, the choice of colors and materials creates a warm and stimulating composition for users. In addition, minimalist work furniture and lighting fixtures in simple, geometric shapes enliven the spaces.

A challenge of the project was to convince the owner of the building to invest in various energy, spatial and functional improvements, including the replacement of windows and the addition of a staircase communicating between the two floors.
