INTERIOR DESIGN - OFFICE SPACES
One of the many offices of this international video game company is located in a converted industrial complex located in the heart of Montreal's Mile-End district. This interior design project, with a total area of 56,300 sq. Ft. On two floors, is the result of a close collaboration between the UBISOFT internal design team and the architectural team. The objective was to develop original ideas, corresponding as best as possible to the values of the video game developer, to his brand image and to the desired working atmosphere.
The inspiration for the project was that of a “biophile laboratory” focusing on redefining spaces and collaboration through formal and informal spaces.
The notion of movement transcends the whole of design. Emphasis has been placed on the design of circulation spaces such as hallways and stairs, to create a dynamic travel experience using light and color.
A distinct identity has been given to each corner of this open workspace, focusing on function, color and vegetation, in order to provide employees with a unique environment, encouraging collaboration and creativity. The aim was to maximize multifunctional spaces and create a balance between well-being, work and relaxation.
