PA LEED

Daniel Smith is a Senior Partner Architect at Smith Vigeant Architects and a LEED Certified Professional. He supervises a multidisciplinary team made up of architects, designers and technologists. He works to define an architectural practice that pushes traditional design boundaries, transforming technical barriers into opportunities for innovation. Aware of the challenges of sustainable development very early on, he is one of the pioneers in sustainable and eco-responsible architecture. Boldness, creativity and ecological principles distinguish his achievements. Passionate about the integration of wood in construction, he is regularly invited to local or international organizations that promote it such as Cécobois or Wood Rise. He is also an active member of the Green Building Council of Canada (CBDC).

His passion for analysis and the search for innovative solutions allow him to distinguish himself in complex projects, requiring in-depth and rigorous pre-conceptual studies. He is recognized for his ability to mobilize, coordinate and unite all the stakeholders in a project in a resolutely clear and positive dynamic. Diplomat and educator, he is particularly effective in projects involving, mediating and negotiating with the various stakeholders of a project.
