ANALYSIS
The objective was to identify a master plan for the entire hospital on the basis of a parametric program provided by the MSSS and CISSS, in order to better locate the expansion scenarios considered at the DO stage, and this without harming the functioning of the future of the hospital complex.
The analysis made it possible to identify the challenges and opportunities that define the site, and to support the CISSS in its vision of optimal development of the site for the next 15 to 20 years.
This project constitutes a first step of in-depth analysis of future needs, current infrastructures, their modalities and potential for development.
We mapped the complexity of the technical constraints inherent in the operation of a large-scale hospital infrastructure, optimizing and enhancing the functional links and criteria to be respected in the different departments of the hospital. The integrated design process was implemented very early on, allowing a high level of exchange and collaboration with all stakeholders.
The integration of sustainable development, the well-being of users and the improvement of living environments within an existing hospital infrastructure represented an exciting challenge for our teams.
