Overlooking a 43 acre property in the Eastern Townships, this 600m2 guest house, perched on a hilltop with a view of Brome Lake, is equipped with spaces for meetings and conferences and located in a picturesque setting that is perfect for relaxation and repose.

An expression of classic modernism, the building boasts a contemporary design with a distinct traditional character. Completely covered with Eastern Cedar siding, the spaces of the guesthouse are broken up to provide an array of different views of the property.

In addition to the central building, this project includes two accessory structures; a swimming pool and a retention pond.

Following a meticulous study of the site and its access, the placement and orientation of the main building facilitates optimal integration into the natural forest setting and minimizes the impact on the surrounding landscape.

In addition, the integration of basic bioclimatic design principles optimizes the performance of different systems such as geothermal energy.
