This project involved the conversion of a four-story building that previously housed a technical college into sixteen housing units. Located in a vibrant neighbourhood known as "The Village,'' this urban loft project offers a unique design concept, in the image of its residents.

Cube voyeur. The space is naked and exposed. Inside, the existing concrete ceiling is open. The shower is in the centre of the loft and is defined by a translucent wall that reveals glimpses of the shaded silhouettes within.

Cube utilitarian. The service areas are grouped together and centralized in a streamlined layout that promotes efficiency.

In addition to extensive recycling of building materials and the reutilisation of 90% of the existing structure, the project integrates principles of sustainable development such as reduced water consumption, the use of low-emissivity materials, and th careful management of construction waste.
