TRAINING CENTER FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE OF CANADA

The complexity of the project for the Asticou Center resided in the desire to have a complete overhaul of the program provided by the Public Works services following an analysis of the conditions and needs of the place. The program originally planned did not respect the structural framework of the pavilions, nor the conservation of the frame of heavy timber (to be covered by a suspended ceiling, at an astronomical cost) nor the needs of users and did not proceed. no equipment inventory.

The restructuring of the program in parallel with the interior design of the 330,000 square foot project has led us to provide original zoning solutions both at the architectural and climatic level. In particular, a new type of interior signage has been introduced to direct the user with a recognition code by color and by pattern.
