DENTAL
CLINIC
NEW CONSTRUCTION
Client: Jean Michel Daoust
Coteau-du-Lac, QC . Canada
1999
250 m2 / 2,700 ft2
This new construction includes a dental clinic with seven operating rooms as well as a room that serves as an ATM for the Caisse Populaire. The basement is divided into two sections, part of which is devoted to the premises of employees and dentists.
The general design presents a harmonious set of openings, volumes and bright colors promoting relaxation in a non-traditional and warm environment.
The laboratories face the operating theaters located at the rear periphery of the building. This south-west orientation maximizes the supply of natural light in the operating rooms through large openings.
In addition to proposing a layout to improve the work efficiency of employees, one of the objectives was to promote an ecological approach to the materials used.
