RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Client: Struktur

Montreal, QC . Canada

In progress

10,670 m2 / 114,850 ft2

This high-end residential development project will be a distinctive addition to a bustling neighborhood. Incorporating the highest standards in ecological design, the development is implemented on neglected industrial land and surrounded by distinctive constructions that have tightened the design criteria. The restrictions and the particular conditions of cohabitation of the site have contributed to the creation of a unique project of its kind.

Adjacent to an eleven-story concrete industrial building and monastery, the latter notably added major view constraints and required the exploration of original design strategies. The integration of angled fenestrations, the addition of perforated screens and the incorporation of partially frosted glazing to avoid direct views into the garden, while allowing abundant natural light to enter the living spaces are featured. among the proposed solutions.
