The urban clothing brand G-Star Raw wanted to move its Montreal showroom to the Gaspé Complex, a former industrial mega-structure in the Mile End, which Smith Vigeant Architects transformed into commercial rental spaces on behalf of the developer ALLIED.
The project consisted of implementing a predetermined design in the G-Star RAW image and adapting the concept to North American standards.
Smith Vigeant Architects carried out the construction plans and details, managed the regulatory procedures for obtaining permits, ensured the consistency of the installations with the Gaspé Complex and carried out works supervision in coordination with the head office in Amsterdam.
The result is a beautiful showroom that responds to the brand's identity and blends in with the visual ambiance of the rest of the building.
