This project, carried out in close collaboration with the College, includes the relocation of the civil engineering laboratory and the redevelopment of the industrial engineering laboratory in its current premises. The workspaces have been completely redesigned with the construction of new partitions to create offices and classrooms.
The quality of this project is the result of great coordination between Smith Vigeant Architects and the engineering teams in order to meet the needs of these laboratories.
We have installed ventilation systems specifically adapted to the industrial equipment present in the premises, installed new acoustic panels to increase sound comfort in these spaces which can be very noisy, and brought all the spaces up to standard.
In the end, this project combines functionality, safety and quality of design, in order to offer a teaching environment adapted to the needs of the discipline and a pleasant working environment for students and teachers.
