RESIDENTIAL PROJECT OF THE SÈVES LOFTS

The project consists of the conversion of a four-storey building previously housing a technical college into sixteen housing units. Located in a lively district nicknamed “the village”, this urban loft project offers a unique development concept, just like its occupants.

Voyeur cube. The space is bare and exposed. Inside, the existing coffered ceiling is clear. The shower is located in the center of the loft and is defined by a translucent wall that lets you perceive and stage shaded silhouettes.

Utility cube. The service areas are grouped and centralized. This gesture makes it possible to reduce interventions and to offer a fluid and rational spatial organization.

In addition to the major importance given to recycling the building, with 90% reuse of the existing structure, the project also incorporates sustainable development principles such as approaches to reducing water consumption, the use of low-cost materials. emissivity and construction waste management.
