Laboratory Redevelopment

This project, carried out in close collaboration with the College, included the relocation of the Civil Engineering laboratory and the redevelopment of the Industrial Engineering laboratory within its existing facilities. The workspaces were completely redesigned, with the construction of new partitions to create offices and classrooms.

The quality of this project stems from the strong coordination between Smith Vigeant Architectes and the engineering teams, ensuring that all laboratory requirements were fully met.

We installed ventilation systems specifically adapted to the industrial equipment housed within the premises, added new acoustic panels to improve sound comfort in these often noisy spaces, and brought all areas up to current standards.

Ultimately, this project combines functionality, safety, and design quality, providing an educational environment suited to the needs of the discipline and a pleasant workspace for both students and faculty.
