The construction of a residential loft atop the Encadrex Gallery in Montréal was carried out with careful attention to coherence with the company’s vocation and expertise.
Primarily a living space, the loft can also transform into a gallery, studio, or workshop.
The loft adapts to its uses, conceived as an exploration of space and light—a true staging ground for works of art.
The mix of textures and materials, generous glazing opening onto the garden, and the loft’s clean lines create an atmosphere of comfort and serenity.
As an example of urban densification, the project was designed in compliance with Novoclimat standards and benefits from passive solar design. In addition to an intensive green roof and vegetable garden, the inclusion of a mobile glass structure provides protection for the outdoor terrace, accommodating the various needs and activities of the gallery.
