The desire to redefine the image and identity of the “welcome cabin” is expressed through a harmonious composition of spaces that integrates architecture as a place of learning.
Immersed in the very essence of the park, the centre acts as a guiding thread, leading visitors into an experience of discovery and celebration of nature.
The building’s form was shaped by the site’s natural and climatic attributes. The choice of wood as the primary material reinterprets the richness of the site’s textures and colors, expressing nature in all its exuberance.
A major challenge was to minimize the building’s impact on its natural surroundings—from its siting to its footprint. Combining bioclimatic design strategies, eco-responsible material choices, and innovative technologies such as hydrothermal systems, the project has become a true model of sustainable architecture, achieving 59% energy savings.
