The project involves converting a four-storey building—formerly a technical college—into sixteen housing units.
Located in a lively neighborhood known as “the Village”, this urban loft project offers a unique design concept that reflects the character of its occupants.
Voyeur Cube. The space is stripped down and exposed. Inside, the existing coffered ceiling is left visible. The shower, placed at the center of the loft, is defined by a translucent partition that reveals and stages shadowed silhouettes.
Utility Cube. Service areas are grouped and centralized, reducing interventions and creating a fluid, rational spatial organization.
Beyond the significant emphasis on recycling the building—reusing 90% of the existing structure—the project also integrates sustainable development principles such as reducing water consumption, using low-emission materials, and implementing efficient construction waste management.
